The website of the greatest pulp fiction writer who ever lived

Happy birthday to the great Groucho Marx (who played a detective named Wolf J. Flywheel in the Marx Bros. film The Big Store). And while we’re at it, happy Zombie Awareness Month (which is actually May, but don’t you think you’re more likely to run into zombies in October?).
Anyway, have a nice Thursday.

Jonny had an unsettling dream about pug races and when he told Hack about it, he was inspired to write this book. The book is even more unsettling.

Happy heavenly birthday to the great Edmund Gwenn!

Hack was so thrilled with how well Catfight turned out that he immediately went to work on this sequel. It was one of the rare times where he was right; it’s pretty awesome.

Happy heavenly birthday to the great Mickey Rooney!

Happy Batman Day!

This post is a result of my concern and depression over the shaky state of our constitutional rights in today’s political climate using the established clichés of pulp fiction art. It is not and should not be interpreted as an endorsement of political violence against any side, which I find personally abhorrent.
And the mere fact that I had to call that out so blatantly makes me more depressed than ever.
